I want to empower you to become the best version of yourself through living healthfully not only in the way that you eat, but also how you move, think and live your life.
I provide individual nutrition counselling sessions in which I dive deep with you about your health concerns, uncover the causes of symptoms you're experiencing and use a holistic approach to give you the tools you need to achieve better health in a realistic way and set you up to self-manage your health in the long-term.
I specialise in the following areas:
Aside from the above, I also provide nutrition therapy for the following:
Weight management (specialising in the non-diet approach)
Nutrient deficiencies and associated conditions (e.g. anaemia, osteoporosis)
Heart health (high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease)
Type 2 diabetes
Fertility, pregnancy and PCOS
Unintentional or disease-related weight loss (malnutrition)
Liver and renal disease
General healthy eating advice for optimal health
I see people of all different shapes, sizes, sexualities, genders, ages, religions and cultural backgrounds.
Please note that I do not provide nutrition counselling for eating disorders or elite athletes - if you are looking for a dietitian that specialises in these areas you can find them on the DAA website here.
I currently consult at The Bod Squad in Inner East Adelaide, located at 3/31 Stuart Rd, Dulwich (see map below).
My consulting hours are:
Monday 3.00pm – 6.15pm
Wednesday 8.00am – 12.30pm
Friday 3.00pm – 6.15pm
Alternate Saturdays 8.30am – 12pm
Phone (08) 8431 9100 or go to the online booking portal to book an appointment with me. You do not need a referral to book, however if you have seen your GP regarding the health issue you wish to discuss with me it can be helpful if they write a referral letter and include any relevant test or investigation results. If you have a 'chronic disease' (e.g. diabetes, high cholesterol, coeliac disease) you may be eligible for a Medicare GP Management Plan which will give you Medicare-subsidised visits to see me. Speak to your GP if you think you may be eligible.
If you live outside of Adelaide or are unable to get to the clinic, I also offer Telehealth (phone and video) consultations which you can book here. You do not need a referral for this.
If you are interested in working with me but aren't sure if it's the right thing for you, feel free to contact me and we can discuss if and how I may be able to help you, or I can refer you on to another dietitian or health professional whom I think may be able to help you.
